Anybody using the propipe hi output?  Good results?  Tq/Hp numbers go up or down from what you had?  Thinking about putting one on, wanted to know the differences in the numbers from what you ran before.

TIA

I have one, and have used it, It really flows well, I had a hard time v tuning it, Took it off until I have the time to really work with it. there are some here that have used it and works. I think it drops off the torque a little but pick ups mid to upper.

Have one on now.  HP and TQ both went up when it was installed.  124/118 on a 103CID.  Huge TQ did around 2300 RPM but recovers nicely and breaks 100 lb/ft before 2700 RPM.  It's a great WOT pipe on a reasonably well built 103 but frankly the pipe really should be used on a 110 CID or larger.  I was experiencing some lean surging while attempting to maintain 25 MPH in 2nd gear and was able to tune most of that out (not all).  Also difficult to get a steady exhaust note at low MAP while crusing (say 50 MPH in 4th gear while going down hill).  I just purchased the "Quiet Baffle" V&H P/N 21905 for $29 from J&P.  Still in the process of doing my best to tune it but it definately is more streetable with the quiet baffle in a 103.  I love the way the pipe looks and it sounds awesome w/o the quiet baffle if you don't mind not hearing the radio (I have an Ultra).  With the quiet baffle it is a LOT quieter but I don't care for the way the insert looks (it is obvious from behind).  I will keep the pipe because it works well now and when I go 117 CID it will be able to handle it.

My dyno charts are posted on the site in various places if you're interested.  IMHO, I wouldn't try it on anything smaller than a 103 that flows well.

I may reinstall the pipe this week end and try some v tuning again, right now im 118/118ith a 2-1-2   and and love the power, cause i know with v tuning the H.O.  it may not be up where i am now, But its fun to mess with though, I to have the quiet baffle but not in it .  but yes it does have a good sound on a stg 4 107. and also im really thinking of a 117 also this winter. I have a ultra also but i installed a hogtunes 160 amp but that big 4 inch hole is still loud.

Hey HD_04  what did your v.e. tables do with the H.O. pipe?
