Bagger Wobble Cure

My '03 eglide doesn't really have the bagger wobble, it's just not quite as steady as my '00 was on long, sweeping curves. In other words, it's tolerable, but not perfect.
Anyway, there's an item on ebay called a "touring stabilizer" from a company called "Throttle Up Industries"; it goes for $129, and it basically seems to limit lateral movement by the swingarm. This isn't a problem that I want to throw a lot of money at; in fact, I'd seriously consider doing nothing. But I wondered if anyone has heard of this product or this company? It has a 100% positive ebay rating, so it must be doing something right.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

A little long if you want to read it all but cheaper than spending 129 bucks..

Max, I'd already read your piece on curing the wobble. In addition to cheap, I also wanted easy.

Max's experiment may not cure it either. Could be stabilizer links, wheel bearings, just to name 2. It's definately a process narrowing it down.

From the post here about changing wheel bearings:

Shot sealed bearings were the cause of my wobble. didn't last but 30,000mi. Installed new, stable again.

Absolutely!  The first thing to do is make sure what you got is in tip top shape.. If that 03 has got a bunch of miles on it, a number of things could be worn.. Including the donuts, links, tires, wheel bearings, steering bearings, fork bushings, tires.. (did I say tires twice?  :embarrassed: )IMO it don't take much to make an eglide wobble..

The one main point of the camel discussion is to look at possible causes and find fixes.  A band-aid don't work on a bullet wound..

Max would you please comment on the what effect/affect of having the oil level set wrong on the front forks might have.  If one fork was stiffer than the other, or lower/higher oil level, would the wheel camber offset when hitting a bump induce any significant forces to cause wobble/swim?

Tnx - j

I've experienced wheel bearing induced wobble before, and this doesn't feel like it. Also, the rear tire is new, and the bearing was fine one month ago. I agree that the donuts, links, etc., are all possibles.

Well HD felt at one time they could get away with a cartilage in one leg and a cheapassed damper in the other.. What would it do?

I'd expect that in you case you might feel the bike pull one way of the other when it hits a pretty stiff bump..I doubt it would wobble tho.. Unless there was something else wrong to allow the wobble to continue..
