:dgust: Sheesh, probably just wasted more $$$. Just ordered flanges & seals from HPI for my 51mm. This TB was on '04 heads, and supposedly the heads I'm gonna use are '06.....but according to the paperwork from the MoCo the heads should have #'s
16949-06 front, 16951-06 rear
but instead these heads are marked 16927-06 F and 16928-06 R, so I don't have a clue which flanges to use. :embarrassed:
Life was so much easier on my pans and shovels LOL.

What size runners did you specify when you ordered t-body ? If it's bigger than the intake ports no wonder you have a step .

Would the O.D. change with a bigger sized runner?
I thought only the bore would change. (This HPI is my first TB upgrade).

I should be safe when I put mine on for two reasons then,  1) I have the 1.66 runner (near stock), 2) it's an 08.

I have the small runners and they match...The trouble shows in the first pic..The H.P. inc collar hits the head which moves it a little down...
I just got a fresh die grinder and will remove the area of contact with the head...I am not talking about opening the port...
I have to pull at least one head to grind on it ...so I need to put it off until the first non work day...I'm heading to Paradise in an hour...
