I bought a 5x10 open utility trailer last year with the idea of going south in the winter to ride. Haven't used it yet but here is the question. I built a 3 ft high rock guard out of osb. It looks to me like overkill I think a foot or so would be plenty. What say you all who have experience in this? I think right now I have a wind catcher.
Thanks

2 ft would be plenty..  3 ft to high..  :soda:

The ones that I have seen are higher in the middle and taper to the sides. If you have a bike on it, it's going to catch some wind anyway. Do a search and look at some of the manufactured trailers, it may give you some ideas. Enjoy your winter in the south!

I dont think 3 is too high, but I'd make it a "V" shape so it didn't catch the wind so bad.
