Not to sound stupid, but what does the bagger brace or the tour link do.  I know what the web sites say.

Being that it seems to locate the engine to the frame??  Wouldn't that cause more vibration in the frame.  I'm just trying to understand what it actually does.  Some better pics might be good also.   :bf:

The baggers have the motor, gearbox and swingarm all bolted together and then mounted on rubber engine & gearbox (swingarm) mounts to the frame. Harley fitted two stabilizer links, one on the heads and one beside the front rubber engine mount. So under extreme G forces the rear rubber mounts tend to flex when the bikes are pushed hard through rough 70 + mph sweepers causing the bagger wallow or wobble. The bagger brace, tru trac, progressive stabilizer and many others came out with the third link that ties the gearbox via a link to the frame. The two HD links and the aftermarket gearbox link let the motor vibrate & shake up and down but stop the motor gearbox and swingarm from twisting sideways in the frame.

Harley should have went this way with the Norton isolastic mounting system

Eric, in answer to one of your questions... yes..... after I installed my BB, I detected a VERY slight increase in vibration in the floorboards. Barely enough to even be aware of. It wasn't even really a vibration, but it was a different "feel" to the boards. I could feel the engine a bit more. Not unpleasant by any means and I don't notice it now at all.
