And i have been using Formula +  also, I took the Red Line out 10,000 miles ago, Barnett carbon fiber with  Barnett  spring conversion pressure plate  and discs seem happy

Al: The only thing that really stands out is an attempt to pocket some oil between the extension shaft and the retainer. When assembled there is a small cavity between the retainer snout and the extension shaft bore that extends beyond the gear face. It will add a touch of oil for a while and then dry up just like the previous models.  Ron

Ron, the "snout" extends into the recessed extension shaft which becomes the inner retainer.
Keep in mind the sprocket is not spinning on the retainer, it's rocking against the cam as the complete comp spins with the crankshaft, it never makes a complete revolution on the retainer/axle.

NSK Bearing Dr. says fretting is from vibration.

Maybe it is so heavy as a complete assembly, it needs balanced?  Mine was on a crank with .0005 run out.
Oh No!

The sprocket is actually oscillating on it's axle back and forth a distance that the cam ramps allow controlled by force and spring pack compression.

Under light load/force it's short movement/reaction, it's vibrating on it's mount.

I'd kill for .0005 on the sprocket. General spline runout error is .005, which is what I have and is pretty common, although most won't admit it. Even at that, it don't seem to be much of an issue. IMHO.
