That's a lot of money for a battery.
As far as the warranty goes, Harley batteries last 6 to 10 years for the most part. Of course some crap out early, but most last many years and don't cost that much per year.
If weight and room are your concerns, go for it.
Listen to the jingle the rumble and the roar.

wow just a 3 year warranty for about $90 a year. Seems HDs are cheaper in cost. My HD battery was $85 new and that was 2007 - it is still in my bike.

Harley batteries have a 6 month warranty and 350cca....these have a 3 year warranty with 500cca

With that many cca it would send more current to the starter and maybe cause less starter failures....maybe :nix:

$269 for a battery.....uh, that would be a no. HD batteries are great since they changed to the sealed AGM style. I got 7 years out of the one in my Ultra. Battery Mart makes a similar replacement also.

I got an OEM in my 02 flstf(95",no compression releases).....last winter I started useing a battery tender....I even bought a HD agm for my shovel 3 years ago.....best thing since sliced bread.
