My understanding is that I can plug an IPOD into the radio and play stored music. What models will work and what other accessories do I need if any?I
have heard the shuffle won't  work.
Thanks
It must be true,I read it on the internet.

I don't think there are significant changes from my '07 to your '10 H.K. system. I just plug (cord with 2 male plugs) my Ipod into the jack and listen. I have used my friends shuffle and it works just as good. Another friend has some off brand mp3 player, and says it works fine. I recently took a 20 hr. road trip, with the Ipod on the whole time, and the Ipod battery still showed 50% charge remaining. I never got close to repeating any of my 400 songs.   I wish there was some way to get the song/artist info to display on the H.K. screen.
I'm starting to believe my body is gonna outlast my mind.

You can get the interface module for the radio from H-D.  http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/gma_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524448775820 ( along with http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/gma_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524448777098 )

A little salty, perhaps, but you can control everything through the handlebar switches.

Don't forget that you can encode roughly 150 songs as MP3s onto a CD and play them either sequentially or shuffled.  If you encode the id3 data the display will even present that while the song is playing (artist, title, etc.).  If it matters to you that the left and right channel program information remains intact for that you'll have to swap channels as you encode the MP3s.  The player outputs them opposite sides from what's encoded on the disc!

Auto,

My IPod Touch works great on my '10 Ultra & my '03 Classic with no problems.  As Breeze stated, you'll need the cord with 2 male plugs.  Don't know anything about the Shuffle.
Every day, I'm one day closer...  WTF!  I'm not near 70 yrs. old!

We have an option less expensive than the Harley Module with no additional harnesses needed.

I just made a bracket to hold the I-pod and use the AUX plug in. I have seen I-pods velcro-ed  to the dash, tank, etc., even some just throw them in their pocket. It really would be nice to have the interface module, but it is a lot cheaper just to buy the small cable. It works great and it shuffles through the 1500 songs just fine. The sound is much better than any FM station I can get and NO commercials........john

Picked up a Sanza MP3 at Radio Shack, $40 or $80 depending on giga bits. $40 about 1000 songs. I plug it into the aux input and mount it on the Eglide fairing between tach and volt meter with 3-M Command Strips, (the ones for hanging pictures). You pull the tab and it comes off and leaves no marks on your wall. That way it's like velcro for mounting and can be easily completely removed without any paint damage. Fully charged I get at least 2 full days of riding.

Same here.  Love my Fuze. Have it mounted on a bracket I made from a Harley CB mic bracket turned bassakwards and mounted to the right handlebar.  I do stow it in the tourpak if I run into rain.
