Looking for suggestions for a shorter antenna, frame mount 2012 road glide as not to hit the tour pack.

They now make hidden antennas for the radio and CB that can be located inside the fairing.  I do not have one but a friend does, he likes it.

I replaced my whip with an aftermarket short rubber one.  You can get them at any auto parts store.   I don't use my radio much but reception has been fine.  I do usually play my CD though.

I have a Dakota under the fairing, been working great since 2004. The Dakota is pricey, others can be had from autoparts store for a lot less.

I use a "Tune Trapper" purchased from Custom Dynamics. It goes inside the fairing , and reception is as good or better than the whip I took off.
