I've been looking at Superflow's head clamping fixture & for me to buy one here in the UK will cost me $555 !!!! I'm currently using a plate with four studs & mounting the head just the same as on a motor but it's tedious removing and tightening four screws every time I change heads. I'm after something quicker like the SF fixture but I can't bring myself to pay that amount for what appears to be a pretty simple device. The photo on SF accessory catalog is too small to see any detail. What's everybody using? Care to share any photos?

I use a cylinder bolted to a plate that has the same bolt pattern as the SF plate pattern then two studs to hold the head down ....lil bit of grease seals it just fine

Similar to my method then .. I use a used stock head gasket & just nip it enough to seal. I've heard back from Superflow & they don't manufacture the clamps, they get them from an outside supplier. I've never seen them for sale anywhere ... anybody else?

I use the cylinder/plate setup myself. With a butterfly wrench the head is on/off in seconds. And when it's on it's sealed up good. No leaks. Some of those quick clamp setups allow the head to leak at the mounting surface.

Appreciate the tip Larry but I'm not sure what you mean by butterfly wrench .. Can you post a pic or PM it to me?
