Where can I learn more about this product? Does anyone have, or can lead me to the instructions for it's install and use?

Jeffd

if you are talking about part #41000008b I have one.  They come with a cd you need to download and then you just use the computer to reflash your ecm.  Contrary to what most say I found my 201 RGU with se stage 1 a/c and slip on se mufflers to run extremely well with the reflash for those parts. It is really simple to install and use but it is basically designed to be used only with HD street legal parts ie se aircleaner, street legal slipons and stock,255 or 254 cams.

So you can't do a "custom" reflash - like going in and leaning just the "cruise" segments, from say 2,000 to 3,000 rpms and from 15% to 30% throttle?
Or slightly richening "just off idle" to alleviate a hesitation or dead spot?

You can flash the OEM HD Flashes or as some say Canned flashes.... you can NOT change any part of the Maps or do a smart tune etc as that would change the Maps parameters ( even if it would improve the bikes performance )

Well, you wanted "simple", "easy to use".  :(

They shouldn't have marketed it with the word "Tuner" in the title.

Golfman

OK thanks - I got my answer. NOT A TUNER It's pretty useless, especially for the price !!!

It has been discussed before, late 2010, you must have missed it.  Basically worthless in the opinions of most.

The MOCO at their best ............... , Note the Kit Part Numbers

41000008B    a Screamin' Eagle Street Performance Tuner Kit

41000008      a CARB Emissions Label

despite the purchase price the value of both to the end user is pretty much the same, zero.

I just got one, I'm not sure it is worth the price, but it is to me. My case is I have a US model 2011 Cross Bones and I live in South Korea and the local H-D shops say they cannot remap US models, only international models. So far, I added a SE Stage 1 air cleaner and while I noticed some improvement mostly in the lower RPMs it wasn't all that great. It took about a month to get the Street Performance Tuner as they were backordered from the online shop that I ordered it from. All the instructions I have with it came in the software program that comes with it. I have to say the instructions are OK but they could be better. So I got the tuner and installed the software on my laptop and it wanted to check for updates so I let it do that and when I connected the tuner to the bike the software said the tuner needed to be updated and since I have tethering on my phone I was able to plug it in and let the software update the tuner. Finally I was able to go through the menus and get the suggested (yes canned map) for my bike with Stage 1 addition and it took about two minutes to flash the ECM. I did it all in my driveway; no big deal really. It made a tremendous difference. There is a long steep hill on a two lane country road I cross that has a 50 MPH limit on it and I have punched 85 going over it before but I could notice the pull in the engine, after the reflash it was hard to keep the bike down to 65 on the same hill and with normal driving my throttle is much more responsive. I am very satisfied with the device. But, it is designed for 07 and later bikes, the local shops won't flash my ECM and the expense was not a big deal to me. If you are in the US or have a bike that can be flashed by your local dealer you may want to check that out first. Hope this helps.

The Street Tuner works great! I have a 2011 103 with SE A/C and Fatshotz pipes. No pinging, good mileage, great throttle response, strong response in all gears, no popping. What else could you want?
You CAN smart tune with the new street tuner, you can enrichen afr by another half point if you want but why? It works great as is.
