I made post #16 above, some time ago. At the time, I thought my front end was balanced perfectly with the dyna beads. I appear to be wrong... <gasp>...  I recently removed the beads from my front tire and had the shop spin balance the wheel. It is so much better than with the beads, I can't believe it.

Now that leads me down a different path.... I DO believe in the concept and the physics behind dyna beads - they SHOULD work. So I'm thinking there may be something to the story about interior-ribbed tires being hard for the beads to move around in, especially at speed when the centrifugal force holds them out against the tire carcass. I run Dunlop E3s and as I recall, there are slight ribs inside the tire. I'm thinking that the beads might have a problem with them. So... I may try them again IF I change tire type, but at the moment I have no plans to.

I run beads and also plug tyres and have not noticed a problem with the two products combined.
