I've been running a Supertrapp supermeg for about 4 years now and it has been outstanding. Probably not for a guy who wants to be heard 10 minutes before he arrives but it sounds good. Lightweight and fits great. After 4 years there is no peeling or discoloration of any kind to the shields. Makes good power.

Jaycee1964

:agree: I had a SuperMeg and can't beat it for the price.  Also, the Basani is a good call.
I'm currently running the RB Racing BlackHole Spyder and love it also.

Yes,  The Road Rage.  Very nice pipe.  I actually will have a used SuperMeg for sale in the next week or 2.  Chrome with 15 discs and open end cap.  Nice pipe if your interested.

go with a D&D Fat cat  with the louverd baffle loud,, or the louverd quiet baffle not so quiet when you wic up the throttle

I think that the fat cat hangs to low, and I am not sure if I like the way it looks or sounds. I'll pass on that pipe.

they make a low cat it sits higher for the softtails and lowered bikes

I really liked my Supermeg but I needed  a pipe with a 2" head pipe so it had to go.

That one looks even worse than the original IMO.

I just installed this pipe on my Fatboy Lo.  I wasn't head over heals crazy about the looks, but also didn't want to spend $$$ on a pipe that was going to end up scratched up.  Dragos didn't give me confidence that his pipe wouldn't touch down, and I had talked to guys running the fat cat that absolutely had scratched it up.  I use my floorboards as turn indicators so those weren't an option for me.

Love the pipe so far, looks much better on the bike than I thought it would.  I got the quiet baffle which I think sounds healthy.  Installation was a PITA as the instructions provide no guidance as to the proper "clocking" of the rear section to the front and I had to use a pipe expander to even be able to get the two pieces to fit together (still was a real bitch though).

I'm waiting for Dyno results to reserve final judgement.

I hear ya, I went for looks with the V&H BSS I had put on before buying the bike, and then went to 2-1 for better performance.  As a side benefit I don't see a lot of people running the low cat around here so at least it's different.

You run a Heritage right?  Can you use the bags with the 'Zilla?

It's a Heritage, but a stripped down version...  A 'Zilla will not fit with the bags because of the slight up-sweep.

The Bobcat looks like a chinchy sport bike muffler  It is even available in carbon fiber.

This is the best deep sounding 2 in 1 I have heard,  performance is on par with a cat

Greg I have heard that those have a kind of rasp sound to them. No one around here has one for me to hear for myself. I know you have one on your bagger but have you heard the softail version ? It would be great if it doesn't. That is a good looking pipe.
