Battery cover clip help..."pixs"

An 07' Sportster.
The battery side cover is a hinged affair.
When I went to push the cover back onto the upper (plastic) lock clip the clip broke.
I rigged it up with super glue and it's holding for now.

Here's the problem............
I bought a replacement clip kit from the HD dealership.
I looked at the bag the replacement part was in and it's completely different.
I told the parts guy that this isn't it, he said it is, as it's an upgrade to what I had.
Not wanting to look stupid, I paid for it and walked out.
When I got home I open the bag and for the life of me I cannot figure out how this 'up-graded' part fits on.
It's made up of two black plastic pieces and two screws.
This is worse the trying to figure out Rubik's cube.
Here are 'all' the parts and the package via pixs.
Can anyone show me  pixs of this "new" clip(s) installed on the frame and cover.
