I was real into the t shirt collecting in the earlier years. But they eventually wear out and as the prices went up it just didn't make sense anymore.

Then I see this guy at work has a lil sportster and wears a brand new hD tee shirt everyday to make sure everybody knows he's a biker (dew rag and all).
Dude has to have several hundred invested in the cool clothes.

I don't want to be "him".  LOL

I know a few guys like that, then there are guys that never wear thier HD garb untill they ride, then they look like 1%'ers! either type gives me a laugh.
Me, I look the same pretty much all the time, cheep blue jeans, fovorite boots, favorite leather jacket, and a ball cap.
I am an adult?? When did that happen, and how do I make it stop?!

I have come to the same conclusion as Pan Dan about 2 years ago.  With six drawers full of shirts, we only pick up stuff if we are on an especially memorable vacation or something..

I try and stay out of HD Dealers. But if I do wander in one, I usually grab a Business Card...There Free. I've got plenty of HD T-shirts from Dealers all over the World. Some dating back to the 70's. Some of them I've never even had on.
For the past 10-15 years I've started picking up "Bar" T-shirts. There are some bars out there that have some really nice ones. I'm talking about small bars... neighborhood bars. Not the "Boot Hill" Saloon or "Iron Horse" types. (not that I dont have theirs) I would rather give My money to the little guy. Most times if I told Him or Her the Owner; that We were from Out Of Town, they would give Us great deals on them.....And they Appreciated it! So needless to say, I've got quite a "Bar" shirt collection. And no I dont ride loaded... Many times its a beer and a burger, most times its a Coke and a burger. Have Fun and Enjoy Collecting! What-ever it may be.

Yes it is a Monkee Mobile Faast Ed, made by Ertl a few years ago. It is a goat, and about the coolest GTO customizing job I can think of.

I stopped buying HD stuff several years ago unless it is really cheap. Like a $5.00 cap or a $10.00 shirt. I am more inclined to buy something aftermarket or a shirt from someplace i just like. I enjoy being the only guy in a dealership NOT wearing HD clothes. I won't ever buy another new HD bike when I can fix the ones I have forever and I want no motorcycle after 2002 from HD and nothing but vintage from anyone else.

most dealers have the dip dots at the sales counter, if you ask real nice the girl at the counter will most likely just give you one, have a nice little pile of them out in the shop...never had to pay for one yet ;)

I only collect the whole motorcycle, so far I only have one.
