Bought a '64 Police Special when I got home for $1.000.00
Sold it in '92 for $12,000.
I had fun in the military...
A lot of young folks these days could benefit from the dicipline.

like being a teenager and never having to grow up.

Hey Mikster,  I spent almost 4 years at Pt Mugu. Darnk many a beer at Mugu rock. Pretty good duty station. I was down the road from you next to the Grumman hanger. Busted many a knuckle on F -14's, F-8's, A-4's, A-3's and A-6B's, I was there when the Tomahawk missle was be tested.
Beat it to fit, paint it to match

ceduby - heh, for sure, like wine they get better with age.
Mick - hear you about the discipline, often wonder if our way of life would be better served if military service was mandatory. Can only imagine what would it be like if everyone served several years and then had their college tuition paid for.

Never poached in Leesville.

B1, 2 sounds familiar, but too long ago.  Drill Sgt. Cadril still a fond memory though:  Truly a humble warrior whom  you would never guess to be one.  He had more earned fruit salad than any I ever saw on a uniform, it even when under the lapel of his dress greens.  And when you asked him what this one was for and the other for, he said "KP" or Guard Duty......  .
