What years of newer touring bikes have cat(s)?
I know my 2010 Road King does and I'm looking for an inexpensive way to upgrade.

Found a stock take-off system from a 2011 Road Glide.  ($75)
Wonder if it has a cat and if it will fit my bike?
If it will fit my bike and there's no cat, then I could just but some slip-ons or modify the stock mufflers.

An '09 will for sure fit my '10?
Yes, same pipe, just without a cat. The cats were in the mufflers then.

I think that 09 bikes use 2 wire, thick O2 sensors located near the cylinder heads where later models use 4 wire, thin ones located just before the cat.

The 09 pipes have different 02 sensors in them and won't work with your 2010 bike

dang...
no way around buying aftermarket pipes to eliminate cat and increase flow?

I really like dual exhaust but can't justify close to a grand to replace the pipes.

Check with Cycle Shack. They make a replacement pipe that uses your stock heat shields and fits your model year. Not sure of the cost but think I remember hearing around $400 for it.
The Best you know, is the Best you've had........ not necessarily the Best.

Check out the new fulsac sport pipe. Very affordable and good power also.

Fuel Moto makes a reeeaal pretty stainless head pipe, $480 or so.
I am an adult?? When did that happen, and how do I make it stop?!

I just installed some D&D Boss Fatcat 2 into 1's. It was hard for me to justify $919.00 till I rode it. 2010 Street Glide, D&D, SE/AC, DirectLink tuner tuned by Rich Sterns at SMC in Colorado Springs. Runs awesome.

I will send those Vied's today.
