Meeting some friends in Mexico Missouri, Any good roads to ride and any hangouts

Going to meet some friends from Illinois and just do some ride and hanging out, I was wondering if there's any good places to ride to and some hangout spots in the area ?

Well, you're not that far from the Ozarks (Osage Beach, etc.) where any road is good riding.  The Elbow Inn at Devil's Elbow on old, old Rt 66 (east of Waynesville) is a little bar/bbq spot where the people are VERY friendly, in an adult kind of way.  If you happen to wander into the big city, Shady Jack's, near the river in downtown St Louis is not to be missed.  Or, if you want to go from Mexico to Cuba, it's only about a hundred miles to the Missouri Hick BBQ, home of the Ozarks' finest smoked meats, not to mention the butt rub t-shirts.

There is the Cave restaurant in Richland, MO.  It is really in a cave on the side of a bluff.  I was there once and the food was pretty good.  Looks like a couple of hours South.
