Is it electrical or is it computer -- Should I not ride?

Hello HD chatter I ride a 2008 Road King Classic after going through start up sequence, engine light comes on for a second time for about 4 seconds then goes out and then I start the motor. Twice while riding, engine like came on, throttle response goes to nothing, and it bogs to a stop. I turned all switches, go through start sequence, again engine light comes on for second time for three or four seconds and goes out, then motor starts and there is no problem. I am trying to find out what my problem is without going into HD or/and when I do I know what I am going in for ..... Any help is greatly appreciated

Also need to know if this will hurt the motorcycle if I ride ... should I NOT Ride?
