Took apart the Progressive Suspension AirTails from my previous 2003 Softail for overhaul (pressure loss). Easy job, a few lock ring and you press them apart with compressed air. I got a sealing kit from a local supplier and now I am wondering what kind of lubricant should be used. The internals were covered with a liberal amount of grease which looked like Lithium based based stuff but I am not sure. Anyone with a solid info what grease to use?

Put them back together with a grease used for wheel bearings. Reasoning is that it should be friendly to rubber based seals, sustain some moisture and low to medium heat exposure. The shock itself is perfectly sealed now, but the connectors for the pressure lines are a problem as the slightest movement of the line close to the connector will cause a leak.
Are there better connectors out there?

Thanks
