Tranny Swap

Hi - Looking for some input on tranny compatibility, my 07 Road Glides is done in after 105000 miles of hard riding. Now that I think about it the saleman only said the engine would last until 150k, not the rest of the bike.
I have a chance to get an 11 Ultra tranny with under 1000 miles on it off of a salvaged bike with the swing-arm mount cracked for a good price. Without the obvious concern about the impact from the crash does anyone know if the 11 will fit in the 07 case without any problems?

I assume it will as the Baker DD7 fits both years but I thought I had better check to see if anyone had any info that would say otherwise.

Should fit.
Think they changed the 5th gear so it would run quieter in 09 or 10.

It will fit. The only change to the case since 07 was that HD milled a flat spot and tapped 2 bolt holes on the rear face for the 09 and newer style exhaust.

I just went through a transmission change due to a broken swing arm ear on my case and got a new 2011 trans for my 2008 Roadglide trike
