I have  managed to own and ride a motorized two wheeler of one breed or another for the vast majority of the last 42 years. I don't know as I'd own one for myself but I would love to take a Spyder for romp.

If that extra wheel up front would finally give my wife the confidence to ride on her own then there would already be one in the stable.

Are you asking the question..? "My bro-in-law bought a new bike?" The answer is NO.. a Can- Am is not a motorcycle... neither is trike, but a Can-Am even less so... I'll allow a trike to ride (in the back, behind everyone else), I won't allow a Can-Am to ride,

You won't "allow" a trike or a Can Am to ride??
WTF is up with that??
So if a Can Am approaches your group from any direction you'll stop them and say "Sorry, you're not "allowed" to ride here."

Wow...........

QuoteI won't allow a Can-Am to ride, go find another summer snow mobile rider for those things... they are for people who can't ride, don't know how to ride, or don't have the balls to ride a Motorcycle... yes they are for sissys

Even the sissies minus an arm(s) and/or a leg(s), who, for whatever reason, are not capable of riding a two-wheeled product? I don't know about anyone else in here, but I'm getting a warm fuzzy feeling who the real sissy is, and it's not those kinds of riders who lack the balls.

Given the number of wars America has been involved in for the past decade, I'd say a trike or a Can-Am would be a good product for some of those veterans who wish to continue to ride, or learn to ride, a motorcycle. And yes, contrary to the opinions of some, such vehicles are classified as motorcycles.

Ahh, now it's gone from can't hold a 2 wheeler up to no arms, no legs, sheesh, how low do we have to sink to get "sympathy" for someone riding a Can-Am... come on, if a person with no limbs is out riding anything, I'm all for it...!  :scoot:  Of course if he's a healthy active male and rides one, he's still a sissy....  :hyst:

I'm riding my  :scoot:  until I finish the repairs to the broken engine case on my  :chop: .  I dare someone to come up to me and call me a sissy.  THROW DOWN!   :hyst:

     I agree.   I won't tell anyone they're not welcome to ride with me unless they prove to be a problem.   No matter what they ride.      Marty

I'm with ya, I don't think I'd actually own one, but I've been dying to get onj one and beat the chit out of it since I first saw them. Problem is, every time I see them doing test rides at rallies n such, they got em all playin follow the leader with like 10 people following 1 slow conservative riding fool, or, should I say sissyfag? . I got no interest in that.

LOL... yes.. I'm riding a 1980 Vespa everyday for my transportation.  I don't think riding a bicycle in 110F weather would be good for my health.  I can accept "dorky" ... my sister calls me that all the time.   :hyst:

Around here it's a seperate licence, not a full blown motorcycle licence. Good engineering and all that but they are in a class all their own. Not a normal motorcycle or trike as far as I'm concerned.

Craig you mean your actually going to go back to the Pan? LOL

Here in my country (America) a man can ride anything he wants and most men don't judge others by the number of wheels under their asses.

I guess everyoe is entitled to thier opinion, so here is mine!
If I am unable to ride two wheels and still get out in the wind I sure would consider CanAm Spyder. The "regular" HD trike does nothing for me and I think the spyder would be a blast to ride.
I am an adult?? When did that happen, and how do I make it stop?!

Ultrashovel

I wouldn't buy a Can Am myself but I don't care what anyone else does. If I needed an extra wheel, I'd go for another sidecar. That''s got more of a motorcycle feeling to it. I've ridden many a mile on Harleys with sidecars and they are a lot of fun.

The last Harley I had with a sidecar was the 2004 Ultra. It would do 38 mpg very consistently.

I've got a '93 WideGlide. Just not interested in registering it and riding it. I'd rather ride the Vespa.

I know what these guys think don't matter to you, but it reminded me of I kid I grew up with. In high school he rode a moped all over. This kid put more miles on that moped in a year than most riders in this group! I agree with you, I don't care what you ride, just ride the darned thing!
