Any advantages of cometic?

Is there any advantage of using cometic seals for the inner primary case versus an HD set?   As much as I hate to send more money to MoCo, it's convenient......

My experience with the inner primary seals, I had tried twice to seal my inner primary on the 120 engine and both times Cometic seal failure, finally on the third time I went with Harley seals and have more than 6K miles with no leaks.  no rhyme or reason    Harley seals do look like a better construction.  than again, never had a problem with any other bikes I work on with Cometic.

The shifter shaft seal is one in that area where an aftermarket (SKF, Cometic) seal would be an improvement.  The HD dual lip trans. main-shaft and starter shaft seal in the inner primary seem to hold up well.  Rick
