Does anyone have a good close pic or a layout drawing of how the front motor mount goes for a 73 ironhead.  I get the general idea but with every set of mounts I see there are different washers and spacers and the manual shows nothing but the plates.  This is for a stock frame and layout.

 Get the Harley Parts Manual.
It shows all the parts, where they go, and the part numbers.

use whatever spacers and washers ya need to mount w/o bending or drawing the frame in

i was gonna push out my 1974 and pix for you.
BUT  i did some creative spacing long ago.
only a couple of spacers are stock.  ones wiht the little circles in them.
i also used cat tractor bolts and made thicker plates cause of breakage.

sorry could not be of help.

The diagrams in the Factory Parts Catalog 99451-78B show all. Put the part number into the Google, eBay, J&P Cycle, etc searches; or buy one thru your local indie mechanic, or HD dealer.

Thanks guys.  I have the manual but was messing with mounts that were supposed to be stock then comparing to an aftermarket set I got with extra spacers.  Was a bit confusing but I'll manage.
