07 Deluxe, once in awhile when stopping at a traffic light the engine will shut down. This happens while down shifting to slow down, rolling to a stop in 2nd gear. Clutch not pulled in.
What is causing this?

Going down that long, lonesome highway. Gonna live life my way.

I have an 07 StreetGlide. Just as it was out of warranty it started doing the same thing. Very intermitant but gradually getting worse. This question pops up here pretty regular and it is almost always an 07 model. The Idle Air Control (IAC) is on top of the throttle body and sticks down into the throat right at the opening. Take off the filter and you will see a dark triangle looking thing at the top of the throttle body just inside the throat. Squirt some carb cleaner on it and cycle the ignition switch. It moves in and out when you cycle the switch. Once it is cleaned you will probably never have a problem with it again.

Don't discount the TPS as a suspect.  The problems I had with my '07 FLHX, mostly sporadic high-idle and misfiring, were fixed after replacing it.  I changed the IAC, plugs, plug wires, internal fuel hoses, and FP regulator before finally finding the culprit.  The symptoms were rare, often going away for months at a time, but after a year got worse and the bike started throwing TPS codes.
