Suggestions needed for 2-1 Exhaust for Streetglide

I'm looking for a good performing black 2 into 1 exhaust for my 09 Streetglide...seems V&H stopped making the Propipe for 09's so scratch that....I was looking at Bub's,Reinharts & Kirker....I don't like Thunderheader.....and I'm leaning towards Bub's.....Any other brands out there that I'm missing???One brand better then the other???  Anybody running Reinharts and like them??? Just looking for opinions....thanx

Why couldn't you use the 2010-2013 pro pipe? I'm a skinny tire dude but don't see what would be different

take a look at Frank Drago's Bike Works Dragula 2:1,  comes with ceramic coating inside and out,  sounds great on my 120,  makes different size baffle to work with all motor types.

Good question...I don't know for a fact.....possibly the o2 sensor location.....

My suggestion.... DON'T DO IT !!!!!

It's just not right with two bags and one pipe... Unless your going to ride with one saddle bag (on the oposite side.)

it's as bad as seeing a Big Radius on a touring bike. It's for softails...  :potstir:

Supertrapp is nice and quiet. To bad drago's does not offer a quiet option, looks like a dam nice pipe

If it's a free world why tell him don't so it.  Actually I think Harleys, even baggers look best with a 2 into 1 pipe.   A 2 into 1 says "I care about performance."  It also weighs less, and cleans up the area behind the rear cylinder a ton on a bagger.  Sorry but Harleys are not symetrical.  You have a carb or throttle body and nose cone one one side and a big ol' primary on the other.  The pipes exit the heads on the right side.  Pans and Knucks came with single exhausts on the right side.  I think two big ol' mufflers hanging out the back and and the old Y pipe clutter up a bike. JUst my opinion cause I live in a free country in a not so free world.

For a 2 into 1 a D&D Fat Cat is pretty hard to beat for performance, and the fit and finish is second to none.

Thanx for the replies....still undecided and will do some more reasearch....kinda leaning towards the Rinehearts now because of price and availability....unless I find out if I can use V&H Propipe for 2010 and up on a 2009.....

The upgrades for this offseason start with a SE Heavy Breather intake and upgrade on the exhaust and budget permitting 103 upgrade....IMO the 2-1 is better performing then the stock 2-1-2 with slip-ons....My bike is all black and I happen to like the look of a black 2-1 on a black bagger...

Big Radius on a bagger??? now thats ugly!!! :down:

Opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one so here's mine.

I've run several different 2-1's over the years. This is how I rate them for quality and sound. I can't really say about performance as these were on different builds (88", 98" 120").  These are just my personal preferences.

NORTHSIDE got it 100% right. i feel that same way. true duels . . . not for me. I think performance aside, 2 into 1 just looks awesome.

2009 was the frame change on the FL, but they retained the 18mm O2 sensors in the headers. For 2010 H-D went to the heated 12mm sensors on the FLs, still in the headers, but close to the collector. 2010 pipe fitment is the same as 2009, so you could use the later version, but you would have to run in open loop without the sensors. So, 2009 is effectively a "one year only pipe", which may be why they pulled it. I favour the Supermeg. Beats me why more pipe manufacturers dont just put two sets of O2 bosses in. This would reduce parts inventory and be a useful tuning aid on the later bikes for those of us who use widebands (only 18mm) for tuning. Same applies to the 2012 Dynas and Softails.

Looks like I'm going with V&H Pro-pipe....o2 sensors will not be problem....I just discovered when cam upgrade and Powercommander were done my Indy unplugged them......thanx all
