My wife has a 2010 heritage and we are considering puting a leather tour pak on a harley solo rack.  My question is can  the back rest on the tour pak be used for a solo rider back rest or will it be too tall and hit my wife in the shoulders (she 5'2"tall). Has any one tried this set up???

Yes, it will work as a back rest. A friend of mine has the same arrangement on his wife's bike and she is somewhere around 4'12"...However, I can't speak to how it hits her on the shoulders.

There are 2 different mounts available for the leather tour pak.  You can get one for solo riding that will allow you to use the pak as a backrest.  The second mount moves the tourpak back allowing a passenger
If you have to stop and think about if it is right or wrong, Assume it is wrong.

4'12"? She's gotta be about as close to 5 feet tall as you can get without being there.

Sorry, I couldn't help it.   :teeth:
