Ok we pretty much hashed out the front end for L.E.D lights. Now how about the back end? There are many choices! Looking in the J&P catalogue there is about 10 different brands of replacement bulbs for behind stock covers, flat plate "conversion kits" for custom covers, Kuryakyn "Panacea" kits, etc.etc.   Am looking for brightest, most noticeable and least trouble way to go. Does anyone have good and or bad experiences with them? How about the several brands of load equalizers and or "smart" controllers?

Idiots are fun, no wonder every village wants one.

Take a look at these guys.  They have some really nice license frames with everything built in.

I've got one of these ( stop/ tail)mounted to my detachable rack instead of the crappy dim light that HD sells...................

I installed one of these last month, just turned the bike on and left the christmas lights off the house since it lit up the whole neighborhood!  Brightest I have ever used and the brake light can be programmed to flash on/off about 17 different ways.  Very good piece but pricey, of course the trade off is how much is your ass worth sitting at a light!

I've been installing Radianz lights for many years for my customers and they love em. Front, back and where ever else there is hardly anything better.
On a recent shop project, I also installed Harley's new LED tour box light kit (just for the record, it takes a bunch of work to put the Kury Akyn Chrome cover over it), Radianz tail light and Bikers Choice LED turnsignals. The same bike also has the new Truck Lite, LED head and spot lights. Not a single incandescent bulb left on the bike. Looks fantastic, works great and bright as hell when he hits the brakes.
On my 76 I have Police LED "whoopie" lights on either side of my license plate that light and flash incredibly fast when I hit the brake as well as a Radianz license plate frame with a 6 inch LED strip. I also have the Badlands Illuminator module that turns all the turn signals into running lights and brake lights in the rear. Also a fantastic upgrade. I'm a firm believer in LEDs for brake lights.

Just ride the damned thing!

Good advice. We need all the help we can get.....distracted driving and all.

+2. I'd stay away from the Kury Panacea, unless they've improved them in the past few years. The set I had were very dim. I switched to Radiantz for the signals and Heavycycles for tail/brake lights. I'm not sure whether Heavycycles is still in business, but the lights still work fine.
Going down that long, lonesome highway. Gonna live life my way.
