Does anyone know of a good set of air shocks to run? I just bought my wife this road king and it already has air shocks in the rear, not factory. It has an air compressor and switch to adjust ride height, but I can't find a way to adjust the firmness of the shock. The ride on this thing is horrible and needs to be fixed. Any suggestions? Btw, the shocks are chrome and can't find a brand name anywhere on them.

How much air pressure do these shocks call for and how much are you putting in?

Legend  makes some really nice air shocks.

No idea, can't even find a brand name or any writing at all on em. As for pressure, as far as I can tell the compressor only changes ride height. I've tried holding the switch on longer with no noticeable change in ride quality

I'm only familiar with Harley air shocks and they don't change the ride height, just the ride quality. I don't what you have going on there. PM me please, I have some shocks that might work for you.

Give these folks a call 90 day money back guarantee, bought a set of the Ultra lows to replace the lowered air shocks on my 06 Ultra, 12 1/2" shocks with 3" travel the wife and I love them needless to say I still have them on the bike, They came all set up with instructions on how to adjust if needed which wasn't. just bolted them up and went riding.

Ay Caramba!....them are kinda spendy!!  But looks/sounds like exactly what I'd like for my bike. Wanna lower it just a bit but improve the ride and feel. Those are probably the ticket.
Thanks for the link   :smiled:

Something with springs.

These are really good shocks, you'll never buy another pair of shocks for that bike.

I went with the 'B' with a sweeper valve.  It makes a huge difference to be able to adjust the damping easily.

An investment in the way your bike rides/handles.  Something that you experience/access every time you ride..probably some of the best $'s spent from a pure enjoyment point of view.  Rick
