Wanted a Mityvac. Priced it up on Amazon.co.uk at 35 pounds (about $60NZ) then found it in a local tools store for .... $250NZ!!!

Places like bookdepository.co.uk are set to put a dent in some of the gouging that takes place here in New Zealand (bought a Clymer from them yesterday - delivered all the way from the UK at HALF the local price) and I'm sure in time other online providers will spring-up for other products. In the mean time I need to find a tools provider that'll ship internationally.

Any thoughts?

Try, Sears, just checked they ship to New Zealand. Their craftsman line is good , stay away from their cheaper brand. On another note my mom was in New Zealand a few months ago and really liked it there!!

Cheers FSG. Was thinking I'd be reduced to using a syringe and a bit of tubing.

The one pictured is made for use on cages but works wonders on bikes.  Connecting an air line to it and pull the lever creates a vacuum in the bottle which draws fluid down the flexi tubing which connects to the nipple.

Will check pricing & postage this AM.

All tool providers ship internationally. China to USA, China to Canada, China to Europe.

True.... Except maybe SnapOn but, then, I'm not made of money. Did look at Sears as recommended but the shipping was eye-watering.
