Hi all,I,m putting apes on my fatboy and would like to relocate the directional signals from the bars where they are presently with the stock bars to each side on the top of the front forks and would like to know what parts I would need to do this and how its done.Thanx in advance Guys. .......James.

I don't know much about softails, but if you have a dealer handy, you may want to check with them and see if they have a kit available. If not, check Dennis Kirk or J&P. It's usually easier to use a kit than to buy parts separately, but it often costs more.
Going down that long, lonesome highway. Gonna live life my way.

Idiots are fun, no wonder every village wants one.

They make fork clamps just for this.          Coff 06

this:  http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/gma_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524448768277&default=none   fits the wide glide triple trees.  Don't know if there's a counterpart for the FL front ends.

Thanx for the advice guys, the clamp idea won,t work with a fatboy front end.

I just installed one of these in a friends 07 Road King. Not sure if it would fit a Fatboy bucket?

He was in a similar situation as you are. Didn't want the signals on the bars and couldn't find anything to mount them on the forks.

The LED's for the signals are VERY bright. Headlight is strong as well. Not sure if there is any legal issues with this set-up. I was concerned the headlight would drown out the signals. Definitely not the case.
