good morning.... does anyone out there know( either the formula) or will do the math yourself and tell me what is the cubic inch size of my 127 cubic inch motor after it has been bored .020 oversize? The stock bore is 4.25 and the stock stroke is 4.50. so the new bore is now 4.27 while the stroke remains at 4.50. thanks in advance

There you go, they even give you the option to plug in stock numbers and then add in overbore or over stroke.

length of the stroke x Pi x radius squared

Your stroke is 4.50 inches
Your bore is 4.27 inches so the radius is 2.135 inches
Pi is of course 3.14159

and so we have radius squared = 2.135 x 2.135 = 4.558225
time Pi = 14.32008, that is in square inches = the area of the piston
times the stroke = 64.40 cubic inches for one cylinder
= 128.880 cubic inches for two cylinders

Your engine started out as 127.676 cubic inches, you have gained 1.2 cubic inches.

1 cubic foot container will hold ~ 7 gallons of liquid, but my 5 gal container has handles, so it's easier to carry  :nix:
Ignorance is bliss, and accuracy expensive. How much of either can you afford?

I find it easier to just look at the badges:

"74" "80" "88" "96" "103" "110" "120R"     :hyst:

No pie required!

Maybe this?
Jethro says, "Granny, today I learned that Pi are squared!"
Granny scoffs and retorts, "Why, everybody knows pie are round! Cornbread are square!"
Listen to the jingle the rumble and the roar.
