Lowering a fat bob

Hi wren again , thinking about using inch and a half lowering kit to lower the bike . Wonder how this is going to affect the way shocks work . Think they are 11" progressives, kit changes angle to lower seat & fender . Will it cause shock to wear out ?

It's not going to hurt the shocks.  Might hurt your back
