Lock Your Tour Pack on Road?

Replacing the springs in the saddle bag latches takes about 15 mins and cost almost nothing. I would not ride around with them broken as they do keep the latch snapped in the latched position.

You never watched me do it with the old style spring.... magic markers, spring hooks, assorted tools, and that was before I got the bags off the bike, lids off the bags, and hinge off the lid.     Given a hammer and an anvil, I'll figure out how to break one of them.

I only lock my Tour-Pak when my wife's purse is in there with the spare key/FOB.

dont usually lock my tourpak for the road but I do lock my saddle bags..have seem many on the road that were partially unlatched so I just always lock mine before I head out..I keep all the stuff I need to get to at gas stops in a rack bag so I dont have to get into the others.

I've gotten in the habit of keeping all three locked.
