If I were there already, transmission seals, unless recently done.

Why replace anything, just wait until it fails.

184,000 not a bad report if you ask me.  I pack my wheel bearings every time I get a new tire.  99 is one of the last bikes that have serviceable wheel bearings then they went to sealed which are better if you aren't going to service them.  I replaced my wheel bearings at 30,000 because the first owner neglected them and I think he was using a pressure washer.  Not a good idea.

Wouldn't hurt to at least change the oil in those shocks...

Just being a little sarcastic Max.  But why in the world would one run a drive belt 184,000 miles.  It's going to fail somewhere and it could happen at a very bad time.     :idunno:

Upgrade to a later year swing arm.

Yup, that's what I was thinking. Now is the perfect time to do that.

at what point do you fix somethings that's not broke?  first advice i had was change it at 50,000 that would be using 3 belts for this mileage,  than i met a older rider who came down from Alaska and had a rock go through his belt and he was at over a 100,000 miles and still ridding 2up..

i was just asking what else to change for maintenance while we have it apart for a short time.

Nothing wrong with your questions, and nothing wrong with running a belt that long. If they look good when I change a tire, run it.
