Go back and watch real close.  There is a constant spark arc from the downward portion of the exhaust pipe to the case.

Did you notice the guy kicking it was kind'a walking it off after the kick? That big bastich was to kick back on you like my old shovel was prone to doing it would probably launch you into a different zip code.
The gas can location just proves "skills" and "smart" aren't quite the same thing....

ah yeah  seeing flames... and a gas can... that's something I'd do

It's not a spark.. It the end of the clutch arm.. A piece that fits the cable.. It'd just hanging down an vibrating a little bit when he revs he motor...
