Memphis Shades - FXR

Anyone have any experience with fitment of a Memphis Shade Gauntlet Fairing - I have a 1991 FXR and would like to get one but they are only advertised as fitment for a Sportster. Thanks

FWIW:
First, my bike is an '85 FXR, but we're probably close enough model-wise for my experience to possibly be relevant. When I decided I wanted "something" out front, I tried a "sport shield". Unsure of the manufacturer. That didn't last too long. A few years went by, and I decided to look the whole issue over again. The nod went to Windvest. I put one of their clear units on my FXR. The windshield can be removed by simply pulling 2 allen screws. My original thought was that I'd only put it on for roadtrips and leave it off otherwise. (The handlebar clamp mount that remains on the bike is pretty unobtrusive). Sooooo... my Windvest arrived on a Tuesday morning in March. I put it on, packed the bike and pulled out from central Nebraska for Daytona..Bikeweek 2000.  Rode 4000 mi. (roundtrip) in 6 days. That was 13 yrs ago...haven't taken the Windvest off yet.
Just an alternative thought for you.
