Replacing origional cam plate with hybrid HD 25284-11. Can someone give me the OUTER bearing part numbers for the cams and spacer kit # also? Does the new outer roller chain come with the kit?

Thanks!!!

The kit instructions list the other items needed for your yr/model.

The spacer kit # 25285-08 has 6(?) different spacers for about $20.  You can buy the spacer you need for about $8, if your dealer stocks/sells per each.  You can measure with your stock spacer and figure/know which one you need.  The 347 (thickness) spacer seems to fit most applications.  The instructions say to start with one .020 thicker than stock and measure..mine had a 317 and needed a 347.  Dealer had 2 kits,  both had the 347 robbed out of them.

The rear (outer) roller bearing kit is #8983 and the front outer ball bearing is #8990A.  I purchased #17045-99D cam service gasket kit which has gaskets, orings, outer bearings, exhaust gaskets and new style breathers,  some feel you can buy only what you need cheaper but if you don't have adjustable pushrods and/or plan on reusing the stock pushrods removing the rocker covers, you'll use most all of it.

You for sure need to replace the inner cam bearings with B-148 full compliment bearings.  Dealer SE or Torrington/Koyo at the bearing supply.    Rick

Do you know the part # for the outer cam roller chain that is used in the hybrid cam plate?

25675-06,  Chain,  primary cam drive.

If you are purchasing the Hybrid kit it will come with new retaining bolts/washers for the crank and cam sprockets.
If not you may want #25533-99A drive gear retention kit.   Rick

Also I would replace the original inner chain 25607-99 if you have a lot of miles as they stretch and will wear the tensioner irregular/faster.  My inner chain was obviously stretched at 80K.   Rick

:agree:  I can certainly vouch for that.
