Redesigned Compensator with oil deflector. Wonder where they got that idea??

Hmm, requires an adhesive, probably for the deflector. Not crazy about that aspect.

Me either.  Having it fall off and drop into the case could be disastrous.

New +1.5 oil pan looks good. Anyone familiar with the baker unit care to compare? Based on pics and description

Since they are stock on the 2014 bikes, I wonder if they used the adhesive or if they mount to the primary inner/cover some other way...

The stock bikes actually have a trough for the oil catch function molded in as part of the outer primary cover.  So, no added parts on stockers.  Not sure if the new primary cover will retrofit.

They are available as a stick on (adhesive) so there is a backward upgrade path.  Softails get a scoop extension.

Stock Softails get a Plastic Snap on extension.



A service kit for previous years, adhesive and a metal clip will hold it on.

Don't know what to think about the adhesive/clip retrofit. Confidence not instilled at this point. Who wants to go first?  :pop:
