does anyone know the degree of rake on a stock 2001 ultra frame and a stock 2009 triglide triple tree? having no luck calling harley.

The rake on the 2001 Ultra frame should be 26 degrees.
No idea on the TriGlide triple trees.

I'm guessing you are looking to do the tri glide setup on your older bike, while I can't tell you the exact rake I will tell you it can be done, I did it last year on an older (99) trike conversion to help the steering. Pretty straight forward if you use your old lowers and get longer tubes. If you use the newer stuff then the brakes as well as the axle diameter will need to be addressed.
If you don't have a sense of humor you probably have no sense at all.

I believe the trike trees add 7 degrees.
I thought I was wrong once but i was mistaken.

yes i put an 09 triglide tree on my 01 ultraclassic helped the steering immensely. i left the fork tubes at stock length. am now dying of curiousity ...just what is the degree of rake on an 09 triglide triple tree? someone out there has to be willing to tell me. harley factory won't tell me nor do the harley shops know cause it ain't in their books....and can't find any info on line :wtf:

if you have the parts in your hands it will be easy to work out using a degree protractor,  with forks through the trees, and trees in a  bike that has been degreed as to neck, cheers
riding since 62, BSA bantum the first bike

This is from the announcement of the new 2009 TriGlide.
Harley-Davidson launched a "wheels-up" strategy in the development of the Tri Glide, and has created a frame and associated chassis structure that is engineered specifically to handle the loads generated by the steering forces and weight of a three-wheel vehicle. Changes to the front-end geometry enhance steering control by reducing steering effort up to 25 percent. The forks have been lengthened by 1.775 inches compared to the regular Touring motorcycle, and rake is increased from 29.25 degrees to 32.00 degrees. A steer damper controls coast-down wobble, and minimizes bumps and other road inputs during turning events.

after riding the trike with the stock 01 front end i put on the 09 triglide triple tree with my same front end......night/day difference if thats only 25% , 100% must be self steering. also installed a set of progressive 944 shocks and they're lots better than air. :fish:
