Has anyone experienced low speed instability on a dyna low or dyna wide years 07 and up? My 07 has always wanted to tuck the front end at low speed and has put me down more than once at walking speed. i have 35 years riding experience and also ride off road. I have had other experienced riders ride my bike and have felt the uncomfortable at low speeds. ? :idunno:

My riding buddy has an 07 lowrider, and I've never heard him complain of that. My 05 lowrider is OK too-nice and stable even at very low speeds. The 05 and earlier lowriders had 32* rake, so they are a bit harder to maneuver in tight spots. Yours may have a problem.
Going down that long, lonesome highway. Gonna live life my way.

Had one a year or so ago that did the exact same thing...it was like walking a dog having seizures.  Turned out to be a stone caught between the inner primary and the frame just forward of the left swingarm / frame iso-mount.

:crash: If you still have the buckhorn bars, ditch them. Or, do as I did and get yourself a big ole RK.

Have you checked the tire?

Any luck finding the cause of the problem you are having?

We have had several Dyna's through the years. The frame was changed in 06. The 06 WideGlide I had felt somewhat as you are saying. The front end had a tendency to want to flop all the way to the stops when moving at walking speed. The 07 Lowrider and the 11 SuperGlide Custom do not. The WideGlides have a different rake than the other Dyna's making them feel as you describe. The V-Rod and the Softail Nightrain feels the same way to me. All 3 have more rake and a feeling that the front end wants to flop over at slow speed when you start to turn and I think the rake has everything to do with it. It is not bad and just takes a little getting used to. I have not ridden a WideGlide that does not have the mini ape bars so I don't know how it rides. I suspect that with the drag bars it has now it would be more like the Nightrain and feel worse that the ones with the mini ape bars.

not at all.

Have you checked your rear tire alignment?  Is the tire/rim square to the swing arm cocked one way or the other will cause weird slow speed handling. Also like already said did you try tightening up the fork stem brgs  Bob

Someone already mentioned checking the air pressure in the front tire.  Did you do that?  On my FXRS Low Rider with a 19" Dunlop on the front, the tire will not give any hint of low air pressure by looking at it.  One time I thought something was wrong with my front end, when the actual problem was the tire valve had unscrewed itself part-way and I only had a few psi of air in the front tire.
