i would rather not unpin them . you might end up having to run closed loop ,if ohio starts emission testing. :scoot:

I edited to add that you can unpin them.  :nix:   If you target anything besides 14.6.  O2 sensor voltage is ignore by the ECM.  The plugs are just a resister to keep the ECM from throwing codes when the cal is targeting 14.6 and something else is running the show.  Like a piggy back tuner.

What would be slick is just weld a ss nut on the pipe where you want to use blocks.  2 advantages would be:  Not having a rivnut protruding, and if you likes to change things and get retuned.  You don't have a rivnut to deal with.  I have on occasion had problems removing a carboned up button head.  Rivnuts spin.

as long as there is room to swing the manifold (herko block)
I dont recommend button heads .
