Tachometer wiring

I'm installing a 1985 Electronic Tachometer on a an older sportster. I have looked at the wiring diagrams on this website (which are hard to read color codes) and they really don't help. This Tachometer that I have has three wires. Orange, Pink and Blue.  I think the Orange is the signal from the - on the coil. Is the Pink 12V+ and the Blue Ground.??

Nope - orange is 12v, pink is signal from coil, and blue is lights.
