I want to pull the trigger on a 2014 street glide. But will it fit? I am 5'7 inseam 29. I have a deuce at the moment but I'm ready to purchase my first bagger. Wanted to try it at the dealer but he sold out already.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Guys

You can lower an FLHX if you need to.   I would try a narrower seat first.

It'll fit, no problem.  My inseam is 30 and I have ridden Street Glides and Ultras.

The 2014 FLHX specification [ride hight] did not change from prior years... see if the dealer has a 2013-09 and if they have a demo narrower seat available, like calif phil suggested...

A few of my friends are about your height and they love their SG.
SG are smooth and nimble. One of my friends had a Dyna and was always afraid of baggers/SG until he tested one and he purchased one on the spot.
Whatever you decide, good luck with it.

you should be fine,, might want to try a reach seat, and be sure you test one out wearing boots,,

All good answers. I have a Deuce and I love it, and it's low and easy to handle.
Also have Street Glides and I love them too, but they are much more of a bike to handle.
Try the narrower seat, pretty sure you'll need it. I'm 5' 10" and my feet are on the ground but not like the Deuce.
Floor boards take a bit of getting used to and keep your legs out a bit further, but not a huge deal.

Pull the trigger, you can make it work.    :chop:

great idea Tom

I have a reach seat from my 2010 Road King I decided not to use.
It has more of a passenger pillion than the Street Glide's seat which probably doesn't look as cool tho.
But if you have a girl...she ain't gonna like the SG seat...lol.   :dgust:

There's quite a few women around here about your size riding StreetGlides. The StreetGlide already has shorter rear shocks than the Ultra. Then add a Reach seat and you should be fine as somebody else mentioned. If that is not enough, HD sells a kit to lower the front end.

Seat height is reduced on the 2014. Try and find one to sit on.

  maybe the international versions...

USA:
flhx 2014, Seat Height, Laden 26.1 in. Seat Height, Unladen 27.4 in.
flhx 2013, Seat Height, Laden 26.1 in. Seat Height, Unladen 27.1 in.

We looked in the 2013 and the 2014 UK brochures at the dealer, and it showed the 2014 as having a 20mm lower seat. Sitting on it, it felt lower, much like the original 06-08 framed versions. Mind you, wouldn't be the first time the book (or me) was wrong.

Saddlemen will also modify their seat pans to make it push further forward; did it for a vertically challenged friend of mine for her Heritage

I am 5'7 with 30 inseam and ride a 2010RG.   I have a 1" drop front and back.  Also, Mustang and Corbin make seats where you do not sit that tall.  It's workable.  Lots of us with similar inseams ride baggers.  It was difficult when I was riding with my girlfriend as she was same height and about 140.   Lots to balance but again, you deal and cope with it.

Go for it..
