   Be very careful downloading anything.  There are a lot of spyware, malware, virus etc. on music download sites.  It is best to get music from sites that do not have that kind of thing, but you will have to pay for them.  You can't always get something for nothing.  JMHO

Limewire is notorious for viruses and spyware, so be careful using it and scan your computer regularly.  

The best I've found is called Filetopia. Very safe and very good ...

  The sites I'm listing are share torrents,,which is illegal..I know people who use them all the time ,,,never heard them complain bout viruses or spyware..They are also able to get movies, games,books ....

If you can get newgroups, look for alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.classic-rock,  I've gotten several hundred MB's of music from that one usually full albums.  There are many others of all types, just have to look.

now everyone seriously you should never use any of these sites for downloading. They come from a single server location, and they may have malware, spyware, keyloggers, and trojans in them, and more importantly they can be tracked much easier since they come from one IP address. I am 19 and have used a different system now for over 3 years and I have never gotten a single virus from it. Check out some sites below I have listed, they will help you learn more on how to download movies, music, pictures, games, and anything else that is on the net.

Featured below I have listed a number of tracker websites that will enable you to find the torrents that you want. Keep in mind that what you want may not always be found, it all guarantees how many people are seeding the torrent. Basically the more people that are seeding the torrent, the faster it will download.

Torrents are a lot safer than limewire or any other crap like that, half of everything on Limewire is porn anyway. Torrents are extremely difficult for anyone to trace which is why they are not tracked very much at all these days. Torrents are moved in such a way that if someone did want to track them there would be hundreds of IP address's to track. Torrents are so unique because thousands of different computers all over the world are uploading the same file to the internet, and different computers are pulling it back down. Something that is really cool is that these computers may only upload a certain part of the file, because that is what is needed for the person that is downloading it to a different computer. This is again as I explained the reason torrents cant be tracked, they simply move to quickly.
