01 Road King lowered when new using White Bros 2" lowering kit. Also used the 3/4" rear shock offset kit- not the best solution for the rear but it's been working for me. I've had no problems with the front end, but I have the stock air shock system in the front end so I can adjust it for load. The kickstand did not need to be shortened but it does sit a little more upright- be aware of ground slope when parking.
I don't think White Bros are still around but there are other kits. Mine was $99.00 plus install (before I started doing as much of my own work as possible).
Hope this helps.

Saturday afternoon and I'm on the computer--What the hell? 6" of new snow 2 days ago-I hate winter. :smilep:

I have a 2001 FLHPI with air ride, I was wondering how to lower that, I'm short.

You can get a lowering kit for the rear, it just bolts onto the shocks and lowers the rear end about an inch. $99 or so.
For the front end, I believe Progressive Suspension still makes a kit that goes in the forks and can drop it about 2 inches. It was about $99, but that was years ago, can't imagine it's much more now.
