cv brace to ironhead motor

I tried a cv on my ol stroker.  it started easier but seat of pants h.p. was down 20 or so.  would not bring front wheel up in 3rd gear.
went back to my S&S L series alky carb.  no accel pump and very hard starting due to big time valve over lap and no cranking (kick start) vacume to pull fuel up idle jets.
anyway. I drilled out my SA&S tear drop air cleaner to work and used a bracket form lifter block to air cleaner.  will find pix

is that a GAL carb and a king kicker?

yes on carb.
with high comp and stroked I was breaking things starting it.
that is a longer kicker and much stronger.
I also changed out teeth on other end of shaft and clutch.
I think it is a sifton.

What kind of fork brace do you have?

its out of my ol flat track parts bin.
I last had it on a montessa 45 years ago.
its been on sporty about 20 years..
don't know who made it.
