I just found this one sold by Randy @ Hyperformance on E-Bay.
It will do pinion shaft run out, piston TDC check,  piston jet pop off pressure, inter connect leak down.
It lists for $110.00 and includes the dial indicator.
It looks like a nice multi-use piece to add to the tool box.
I'm going to buy some aluminum and try to machine one like this...I like a multi-use tool like this one.

I like it, simple and accurate. Nice little step on the inside fro those pesky proud pistons.

colder than a well diggers azz outside...so I fired up the torpedo heater out in the barn and starting making my multi use tool. I used my drill press as a milling machine with the cross wedge vise I have. I still need to drill and tap for a set screw to hold the caliper in place...but I like it so far.
