I have an Innovate LM-2 logging wideband meter that has multiple extra analogue inputs.
I would like to attempt to set up some sort of TPS to log.
Has anyone tried to do this ? A simple variable resistor driven off the carb' or throttle ?

I also want to try to log the factory MAP sensor, to give me a better idea of what part of the
Ignition map in the DTT is in use.
Does anyone have a MAP voltage to pressure conversion table ?
I've found a few generic tables, and it appears to be fairly linear, around 4.75volts at 100 kPa, and 0v at 10 kPa.
I guess It will become more obvious when I test it anyway.

I believe that the 0.5v to 4.5v maps from 15 kPa to 102 kPa..

You will need to filter the signal..

Thanks Max.
Just did a quick bench test, and i'm seeing 4.7v @ 1300ft.

Just got an email back from DTT and they say the MAP is sampled at BDC on intake stroke,
and as the MAP varies so much throughout the stroke, any usefull logging is impossible .

The voltage fluctuation is the reason you need to filter the data.. While Schroeder thinks the data is not useful, it does help with tuning.. I've not used the analog voltage input on the LM1 I have but used an auxbox and the vacuum line input on it.. It comes in handy just to tell you the relative throttle position.. Like WOT or shut down.. When recording you can get a idea of what you were doing when combined with a RPM data.. You can all blip the throttle a couple times to show you are staring some sort of run..
