Is the FP3 auto tune function close to a good dyno tune?

If used on 2014 FLHX with usual breathing mods

I don't think a bolt on auto tuner is going to be better, or as good as, a proper dyno tune. I could be wrong, but if I am, it just put all dyno operators out of business.

Depends on where you have it dynoed . :idunno:

There will always be some new gadget to adjust AFR but there is not one that tunes a motor. The farther from stock the mechanical components the farther off the base maps will be. You tune for AFR and I will get mine tuned by a pro with a dyno for performance, efficiency, and riding manors.

What about the technology that the S&S IST Ignition System uses, it auto maps the ignition timing table. Many users report that it works pretty well. Why hasn't one of the companies adapted this technology?
